Now Boarding: American Airlines Increases Domestic and International Flights In 2018
2018 is a year of growth for American Airlines. The carrier recently shared detailed plans to expand both domestic and international routes this year, with customers in markets like Philadelphia and Chicago getting more flight options than ever before.
Philadelphia-based travelers will soon be able to fly nonstop to Fort Wayne, Indiana, Oklahoma City and Pensacola, Florida, while a new service will help connect travelers from Charlotte Douglas International Airport and DFW to Panama City, Florida and South Bend, Indiana.
“Summer travel to Europe is very popular,” said Vasu Raja, a Vice President at American, in a press release announcing the May 2018 routes. “These flights will conveniently connect customers from two very important hubs – Chicago and Philadelphia – to exciting markets across the Atlantic.”
By the end of 2018, American will add a total of 52 nonstop flights to its growing network.
